Grow your practice where clients now search

Someone just asked ChatGPT for a therapist in Tampa.

Earshot shows whether AI assistants name your practice when someone asks — and the specific signals to strengthen, across your website and your public profiles.

Asked this week, in a city like yours

“Can you recommend a couples therapist in Tampa? I’m paying out of pocket.”

“…well-regarded options include Bayshore Therapy Group, Marriage Solutions of Tampa, and Westshore Counseling Collective. Each offers private-pay couples sessions…”

What each assistant said about you

  • ChatGPTDoesn’t name you
  • PerplexityCites your directory, not your site
  • GeminiNames a competitor instead
Sample scan output. Fictional practice — your scan shows the real answers, and the source behind each, for your city and specialty.

The blind spot

You can check your Google ranking. You can’t hear what AI tells your clients.

01

A growing share of clients start with “who should I see?” typed into ChatGPT, Gemini, or Perplexity. Those answers name specific practices. Someone gets recommended. Is it you?

02

Right now that choice is being made without you in the room. Usually it's a directory listing or a better-positioned competitor speaking on your behalf — in words you never wrote, to a client you'll never know you lost.

03

You can keep anxiously Googling yourself, or you can know where you stand and act on it. Every week, Earshot shows you exactly that — and hands you the one move most likely to make you the name that gets picked.

How it works

Turn “Can people find me?” into a clear growth plan.

1

Tell us about your practice

Practice name, website, city, and your specialties picked from a list. We generate the search questions from there — you never write a keyword or a prompt.

2

We listen, every week

Earshot asks AI the same kinds of questions prospective clients ask when looking for a therapist, then shows which practices are recommended and the public sources behind those answers.

3

One email, one fix, every Monday

Your score, what changed, and the one fix most worth doing — sized in minutes, with who should do it. When last week's fix shows up in the evidence, we tell you it worked. No dashboard homework.

The Monday email

The product fits in one email.

Sample report, fictional Tampa practice. No dashboard to learn, no login required — though one exists if you want the history.

Earshot weekly: 43 (+3) — your title fix strengthened your site signals

43▲ +3 vs last week
  • AI search 10/30 ↑
  • Google 9/30
  • Business profile 11/20
  • Directories 6/10
  • Website 7/10 ↑

Your fix worked. The new homepage title went live Wednesday. Your website now says “couples counseling Tampa” in the title and main heading, so both people and machines get the specialty/city signal faster. AI answers lag site changes by 2–6 weeks; we’ll flag it the week they move.

AI named you twice this week(Perplexity, Gemini) — but both citations point to your Psychology Today profile, not your website. Right now, the directory is AI’s entire picture of you.

“…well-regarded options in Tampa include Bayshore Therapy Group, Marriage Solutions of Tampa, and Dr. Elena Reyes (via Psychology Today)…”

Perplexity, June 13 — “Can you recommend a couples therapist in Tampa?”

The one fix for this week · ~25 minutes, no developer needed

Your Business Profile lists one category: “Counselor”. Add “Marriage counselor” and “Psychotherapist”, set your hours, and add 6–8 office photos. You’re absent from the map pack on 4 of 7 tracked searches — profile completeness is the fastest signal to move, and we verify the change in next week’s evidence.

Built for therapy practices

Useful marketing guidance without uncomfortable marketing tactics.

We'll never tell you to solicit client reviews.

Recommendations focus on public details and sources you can improve responsibly.

Public data only. Nothing to be HIPAA-anxious about.

We monitor what anyone can see: search results, your website, your public profiles. No client data, no PHI, no EHR integrations. By design, forever.

Directional, with receipts.

AI answers vary between runs and apps, so we never claim “this is exactly what every client sees.” We show you the actual responses and track the trend, honestly.

One fix at a time.

A list of twelve problems is homework. One fix, sized in minutes, with last week's fix verified in this week's email — that's momentum.

We listen through each assistant’s official interface — sampled, recorded, and shown to you with sources. Never scraped, never simulated.

Honest answers

Questions we’d ask too.

Is this exactly what clients see in ChatGPT?

No tool can promise that — answers vary by run, account, and app, and anyone claiming otherwise is overselling. We query the same models through their official interfaces, sample multiple times, and report the trend with the actual responses attached. Directional, honestly labeled.

Is this SEO, or something new?

Both, really. Earshot is answer engine optimization (AEO) for therapy practices — an AI visibility check across ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and Claude — alongside the classic public signals: your Google rankings, the local map pack, your Google Business Profile, and directory profiles like Psychology Today. It works with your SEO, it doesn't replace it.

Do I need to configure keywords or prompts?

No. You pick your specialties from a list and tell us your city. The questions are generated from how real clients phrase searches — symptoms and situations, not clinical terms.

Can you fix what you find?

Yes. Every fix in the Monday email has a “have us fix it” option that goes to our studio — Earshot is built by Credible by Design, the team behind the websites of practices like The Sanctuary of Wellness and Tampa Counseling Place. You can also do the fixes yourself; most take under 30 minutes and we say which ones need a developer.

I barely have time for email. How much work is this?

Five minutes of setup, once. After that, the entire product is one email on Monday morning, under a minute to read, with one optional fix. There's a dashboard if you ever want history — you never have to log in.

What does it cost, and can I cancel?

Earshot is paid monitoring, not a free tier. Solo practice monitoring is $39/month; group practice monitoring is $99/month for one primary practice and location (2–15 clinicians) — not multi-location reporting. You can manage or cancel your subscription from the dashboard.
